lord they had to think about it didn't they?

so i was watching spike today and i saw a commercial for the Video Game Awards (VGA) and at the end commercial they said "hosted by burger king and the 221,184 ways to have a whopper" and i thought "they actually had to think about it? seriously? what the fuck?" and this is even odder after looking up this on wikipedia and saw that it says "One of the original slogans of the Whopper advertised by Burger King was 'There are 1024 ways to have a Whopper' the claim is based on the math formula of whether the sandwich has the ingredient or not, a binary number of 0 or 1, raised to the power of number of possible ingredients at the time, ten, thus 210 =1,024. This claim was later expanded to There are 221,184 possible ways for a customer to order a Whopper sandwich."... seriously? not only did they calculate this but they found a flaw in there or something? and I'm just seeing somewhere there would be a whopper with 5 patties and nothing else. "heart attack on the bun"

so i don't get the deal with the weighted companion. for the unlikely event for those of you aren't aware of what the companion cube is:

it is a fake hunk of metal in the portals game(s) franchise, i have noticed it has stirred quite a bit of attention, in the gamer community, and i have no. Jeep Barnet, one of the programmers of valve, has made claims that he has received E-mails from fans saying that it was emotionally easier to kill the little sisters from bio shock then the to euthanize the companion cube (for reference to Little sister:)

now i will be the first to tell you "actions in video games do NOT dictate action in real life" but i still find it partly twisted that it is easier to kill the little girl down there at the huge fucking robots foot then it is to incinerate a hunk of metal... i then found out that in documents it was revealed that in isolation people make attachments to inanimate objects. this still makes little sense to me. anyway portals is going to have a sequel with Cave Johnson:

who died in the 70's of mercury poisoning from the shower curtains he made as a gift for the US navy. which Aperture was made to make shower curtains for all the other branches of the armed forces, his final requests where: the take a wish foundation, the Heimlich Counter-Maneuver, and the hand-held portals device. GLaDOS was meant to be like the daughter he could not have seeing as how he was dead and her prototype. on a portals note: angry eye is angry. on a half life note they are making a half life remake using the models from the most recent games mind you that they have cut a lot of the creatures from Xen but honestly if they can replace Dr. Breen with a Lucario they can replace a fucking Houndeye... i have although been thinking bout getting that 2001 PS2 remake...

so i made my choice on my game, i was not seeing the middle ground then i had seen it in the xbox rental aisle: i use my free ticket to buy left 4 dead, rent fable 2, and later by banjo-kazooie. this was simple to come to once seeing left 4 dead was rented out, there was only 2 copies of fable 2 in, and that banjo-kazooie was only 39 dollars and i have 31.

so i have now gotten over 80 comics (83 to be exact) i am planning on posting it soon to most likely reddit. for Isotopes* expo isn't quite large enough to be posted on comic genesis, and i couldn't find any of domains... but the trouble there is they like to keep track of all comics posted and i am going to post all 83 (or up) comics at once.

i never went on that trip round town on Saturday (i remember now i was going to bring this up here but couldn't think of anything to write. basically i got my hair cut and shaved. i then realized "I'm ready to hit the town with nowhere to go" so what i thought i would do was to pretend to be one of those death mutes... i mean wander around the town for a bit, going by the Philosophies of "it's not the destination, but the journey" and "adventure will find you". this didn't occur because Justin was supposed to pick me up to start the journey, it seems he had to work on Saturday because he works at good will and their Black Friday sale was on Saturday: $1.10 for every bit of clothing. he was to take me to goodwill with him and show me "it was an awesome place" problem was he didn't tell me when he went to work nor when he would be picking me up. i stayed up the night before because i woke up only in time for my mom to come home on black Friday. so I'm wide awake at midnight, my mom getting home at 5, so i was up till 10 am waiting, then i laid down on the couch watching law and order and i passed out right round maybe 10:30 am to wake up 5 hours later at 3pm). I'm thinking of doing this Saturday heading out this weekend instead, i got a few things planned (for one I'm going to go see a man about a hat, two I'm going to this local hamburger joint to get me this burger, I'm still kicking myself over this: see this is what i meant when i said "now I'm going to watch some television, brush my teeth in an hour (maybe), go to bed and in the morning get my haircut (and maybe get a burger)" and if memory serves i did neither of these that date for i passed out. notice a pattern here? well i thought " I'll just delay this til Saturday giving me at least one thing to do" and obviously it was a bust. and 3rd i might go back to clay mountain, i found directions to it on google maps), and i will be taking pictures.

so i have breathing room again on red vs blue. my messages are now at 46%, after a month of it hitting 98% once a week. now how you may ask did i accomplishment this? simple i deleted one long conversation with my friend Pete (now this may sound crazy but i assure you there is a semi-sane reason to this: I'm a writer, my material is what i think up and what happens to me. i look back on these conversations and see pure comedic gold. them in one long message so as to find them easier, see then i don't have too look through 5 to more conversation tabs looking for one "funny thing i said", so when it gets backed up like this i save them in open office. so what do you get when you have the genius writer of Z-Ville and the moron behind Isotopes* Expo collide? actually not much it seems... just a lot of talking about Half Life, G-Mod, other video games, and comic books, he did mention making one of my ideas into a G-Mod comic...).

at the end last week i got addicted to "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay after hearing "space oddity" and it reminded me of Coldplay for some reason and this reminded me of my brother (say it "what a fucked up train of thought you have", when my brother up here him and i watch Saturday Night Live because of the drummer who hit hit the bell, he noted it was an odd band, saying also "Seth could do that"), during that time of the "space oddity" point i was battling between it and "Major Tom" (ha ha ha, first time i saw that part with major tom's wife XP) and today a flash from the past came to me....no, screw you i gave you 3 songs i listen to, that's enough (especially since i don't like sharing music i listen to..)

so on my grandpa's regular walk he was stopped by a man saying that he hears "tonight our state will be hit by a cold front, it will snow and the tempter will be 0 degrees"... personally i feel he was partially right seeing as how there is a cold front heading this way, however it didn't hit tonight since it's 2 in the morning, the tempter is 43 degrees (ah comfy), and the sky is clouded but no snow. though if you believe wunderground it will snow Wednesday though the weather channel's site contradicts this saying it will be windy (which we have a wind advisory).

so i was just talking to Justin bout an hour ago (at 1:30-1:43 am, i wanna point out though the time says a different number i generally finish writing round now dude to i generally try to figure out what to add in here then random shit pops to mind) and he says he will try to pick me up this Saturday and his work hours are 8:30- 2:30. which gives me plenty of time to wander the town for a bit, i just need to dig up an old watch (shouldn't be hard to do)

well I'm running low on subjects to cover for the night so...
